Imagine sending a status update that only real estate industry people see or even more specific only real estate agents in your office see. You could also create lists for family or friends that none of your colleagues will see.

As I mention in the video, keep in mind that facebook does not allow you to send a private message to more than 20 friends at a time, so it might be a good idea to keep your lists to smaller than 20.
