Investing In Yourself and Your Business – Productivity Nugget #101

“If you want to be truly successful invest in yourself to get the knowledge you need to find your unique factor. When you find it and focus on it and persevere your success will blossom.” – Sidney Madwed

In the Productivity Nugget, I share why I’m at the Sea-tac airport heading to Phoenix.

Reason #1 Family

My parents bought a home in the Phoenix area awhile ago, so I’m looking forward to seeing their new home and playing golf with my dad. I haven’t seen him since we took our trip to Ireland.

Reason #2 RE BarCamp Phoenix

I’m looking forward to meeting IRL some people I’ve connected with online. I’m excited to share some things I’ve learned about video blogging and also look forward to learning about video from others and other topics.

All the other reasons

I’m investing in my business. I’m looking forward to talking to some agents I know and brokerages about the vision they have for their business and my services. The opportunity to have this conversation face to face will help us both identify if we would be a good match for each other.

How are you investing in your real estate business?

There are many reasons to cut expenses. Be careful not to cut the muscle while you are cutting the fat though. Investing in your real estate business and yourself are key factors to you staying in this game. Especially in this market and this new technological age we are in. You can’t afford to fall behind. You can’t afford not to invest in yourself or your business.

The question is not are you going to invest. The question is “What are you going to invest in?”
