Are You Living Up To Your Potential?

The other night, Katherine and  I went to the movies to see Limitless.

It’s a movie starring Bradley Cooper (Katherine’s celebrity crush) and Robert Deniro.

The premise of the movie is that Bradley is “starving artist”, not living up to his potential, when he comes across a drug that allows him to access 100% of his brain. He has more focus, more energy, better memory, etc, etc.

Of course there are side effects.

Living Up To Your Potential

What I took away from the movie, was the idea of potential. Being the best version of yourself.

Sure, he was using a drug to get there. Probably not the best decision. But there are “cheats” or “hacks” you can use to become better, faster. To start living up to your potential today.

Do you have a mentor or a Mr. Miyagi?

Do you get outside perspective from someone like a golf caddy, to help you with club selection (tactics) or lining up the putt (strategy)?

Do you feel like you are living up to your potential?

If not, what are you waiting for?

I think the part about unearned power leading to recklessness is true. being the perfect version of you is the end and getting there is really the journey we should all learn to enjoy. :)
