Earn More Money, Systemize Your Business, Become Your Marketing

3 blogs that I came across that I think have huge value.

Instead of just sharing the link via twitter or facebook, I wanted to make sure you check this out. I think they all fit together and compliment each other as well.

Earn More Money

The first is from Ramit Sethi, author of I Will Teach You To Be Rich. Ramit blogged why most people won’t earn more money over Adam Baker’s blog Man Vs. Debt.

The blog post is about how to earn more money on the side, but I think there is some real wisdom in here that you can apply to your every day business development.

Enthusiasm and motivation are VERY powerful ways to get started, but they don’t carry you through to your first $1,000.

What does? A system that helps you identify ideas, test them for profitability, and then scale up your marketing. Compare this to most people, who think that earning more is about finding a magical idea that will somehow urinate money on them from heaven.

Systemize Your Business

The second blogpost is from T. Harv Eker, author of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth.

This line on facebook caught me eye and made me click to read the rest “…you’re not really a business owner if that business can’t run without you.”

He then writes why with out strong systems for your business, you are just self employed.

The business system definition is ‘A repeatable process that produces a profit.’ If it doesn’t produce a profit, it’s not really a valuable business system. So the idea is to systemize your business so that it can work without you. Most people do not own a business, they own a job! They’re self employed. But even if you employ yourself you’re still an employee, and like most employees you’re probably still freaking broke, or at least you’ll never create wealth.

Activity Based Marketing

Jeff Bernheisel, Marketing Director for M Realty, did a great blog about what he calls Activity Based Marketing.

Sorry to all the real estate agents that say they don’t have time for real estate blogging or social media. Jeff just ruined that excuse for you.

Activity Based Marketing is a style of marketing, where the activities you’re involved in on a daily basis becomes the content of your actual marketing activities.

So, how are you going to start to earn more money?

What do you have to do to systemize your business?

How will you implement a better, more effective marketing strategy?
