Increase Productivity, Lead Conversion, Website, And Training Event

My day is a lot of fun. I love business development.

I love building my business. I love helping people build their business.

Here is what I did today:

Increase Productivity

Increase ProductivityI met with one of my real estate agent coaching clients to talk about their productivity. He wasn’t stoked about his productivity but felt he was doing everything he could possible.

We took a look at his daily schedule. The problem was he doesn’t really operate from a daily schedule. The day dictates to him what will happen, instead of him deciding what he will focus on and accomplish.

We talked about him doing less. Setting limits. Focusing on his 1-2-1 Business Development Formula.

We then dove deep into the two secret ingredients to increase productivity.

1. Eliminate Distractions – Urgent things will always show up. Urgent things can actually make you feel productive. But you need to learn to eliminate distractions like inbound phone calls, twitter, facebook chat, whiny agents in your office…etc. if you are going to increase productivity.

2. Control Your Environment Discipline is overrated. The quickest way to increase productivity is to control environment. Discipline is so hard to control over the long term.

Lead Conversion

Been spending a ton of time lately working with real estate agents on their lead conversion. Many real estate agents are missing out on opportunity with their sphere of influence, on their real estate website and just missing The Moment when lead conversion is happening in their real estate sales business.

Today I worked with an agent on creating landing pages and lead conversion forms to their real estate website. They are going to be trading content for contact.

Website Design

I also worked with a mortgage broker on his website design. When I’m working with someone for a custom design website, I work with HomeQuest based out of Portland, OR.

The website to the right is one they did for a real estate agent coaching client of mine. Check out what that process looks like here.

We had the first mock up website design back to us, but he wasn’t feeling it. We grabbed a late lunch and talked about his overall business development strategy and started working backwards.

Something finally clicked in the discussion. We finally knew exactly what we want to do with his online presence so that it can support, be in alignment and amplify his off line presence. He is pretty excited!!!

Training Event

I also work with real estate brokerages, helping them to attract and recruit productive, forward thinking real estate agents. This morning I worked with a client of mine planning the beginning stages of a training event, slash, recruiting event.

I’m helping her develop her online presence for her brokerage and working on getting her started on creating content, so she can also trade content for contact.

I’m creating a whole social media workshop that will operate as a tele-conference along with downloads for her real estate agents and the recruits she invites to participate.

That’s What I Did Today.

What Did You Do?
